Welcome to PATA

PATA’s reputation as an excellent source of support and information for childcare from birth to teens, is built on more than 15 years’ experience and expertise.

Our work throughout Gloucestershire plays a major part in sustaining local communities, contributing to the welfare of children and their families.

PATA membership benefits are available to all members in the voluntary, private and maintained sectors, including toddler groups, playgroups, day nurseries, crèches, early years centres, children's centres, out of school clubs and holiday play schemes.

When a child attends a PATA member setting their parent is automatically a PATA member.

PATA’s dedicated and professional range of support services are also available nationally, through membership and under contracts, for the benefit of childcare settings throughout the country.

PATA Annual General Meeting, 1st July, 7:00pm at the PATA Centre

Exciting news is that Rob Rees, MBE will be guest chair and speaker at the AGM.

Come and hear the nationally famous, locally based chef and campaigner on food issues.  Passionate about food for early years and school aged children, he will tell us about his global vision as well as matters closer to home, such as the recent launch of the Preschool Food Pack.

Rural Crèche Service

Following its flying start in the north Cotswolds area the PATA Rural Crèche Service is expanding into other areas of the county.  The service is managed by PATA's Rural Crèche Coordinator Sarah Mann from office space at the Cotswold District Council's Moreton Area Centre, Moreton-in-Marsh. Links have already been forged with several training providers in Gloucestershire: Cirencester College, Gloucestershire College, Parentline Plus and PATA's own NVQ Training and Assessment Centre. A number of PATA courses for parents are being supported by the PATA Rural Crèche Service. Contact Sarah Mann on 01608 652056.
