FOCUS GROUP - MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING TRAINING (FREE EVENT)

Are you a PATA Member and interested in helping shape PATA’s On-line Training during the current period?

You can still undertake study whilst furloughed and due to requests for on-line training we are looking at our current offer. Resident tutor, Colette Etheridge is best placed to offer outstanding topical training around the issues that this challenging time may raise for our youngest learners, including:

  • Separation Anxiety - of being away from staff and peers and worry about transitioning back to setting
  • Loneliness - of being away from peers and prolonged periods indoors with direct family
  • Dealing with Bereavement - from a child and adult perspective (distinct from each other)
  • OCD – there is the potential for these behaviours to increase and for ritualistic patterns to develop

Can you help us?

We will be holding a Zoom Focus Group on Friday 3rd April 10:30am to discuss training needs and would love ten of our members to join us. This session is free but please be aware that we cannot give advice during this session, it is around facilitating discussion to best target help and support for the children and practitioners in your settings.

If you are interested in joining us on Friday book your free place here. If all places are taken, please join the waiting list. If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer out your place.

Please ensure you complete the 'attendee name' and 'attendee address' (of the person taking part) to ensure we send the Zoom Invitation to the correct email address.
