BESPOKE PANDEMIC WELLBEING SESSIONS FOR PATA MEMBER SETTINGS

Booking is now open

We know that many staff teams are feeling the challenges of the past year of the pandemic. We have the opportunity to offer a bespoke group well-being session for your staff teams to confidentially discuss any worries and concerns arising from the pandemic. The session will be facilitated by our resident counsellor Colette Etheridge.

This is an opportunity for your setting staff to talk with their peers, alongside a skilled counsellor, in a confidential and non-judgemental space. Such a session will allow team building and bonding, helping staff understand others experiences, and bringing teams together after such a turbulent year.

PATA recently ran this session for our own setting managers and they found it insightful and meaningful.

I would say that the session left me feeling like we should have done this a long time ago! It is very healing to just talk, there may not be resolutions or an immediate outcome to how you’re feeling, there may not actually be anything that necessarily needs fixing but talking things through with likeminded people and feeling heard is very good for your wellbeing."

Session Details

  • Sessions will be two hours long held in the evening from 6pm onwards.
  • Sessions can be held via Zoom (up to a maximum of 7 staff members) or in person - either at your setting or at Colette’s offices in Quedgeley (up to a maximum of 10 staff members). Please note there may be a small travel expenses surcharge if held at your setting. (Please note Colette has been vaccinated).
  • The cost of this session is mainly being subsidised by the Gloucestershire Coronavirus Quick Response Programme. There is, therefore, only a minimal charge of £50 to your setting.
  • We can only fund sessions for 5 settings and bookings will be taken on a first booked and paid basis. Once the 5 places are booked, the normal rate of £200/£250 will apply.

If you require more than 7 or 10 staff members to attend please continue to book but we may need to contact you to discuss this further.

You must be a PATA member at the time of booking and attending the session. Please ensure your membership is fully up to date to benefit from this offer.

The booking system will open on Wednesday 28th  April at 11am and 5 spaces will be available.  Once all spaces are booked please join the waiting list so we can notify you if a place becomes available.
