Promoting Positive Behaviour

Precourse information containing your Zoom link will be emailed to everyone (whose invoice is settled) on Wednesday 1st February. Course Aim: To provide the tools for dealing with behaviour and how to promote positive outcomes. The course covers all aspects of behaviour for children. 

Course Information: during this session:

  • There will be an opportunity to discuss children's behaviours which impact on their daily routine 
  • We will share good practice and look at effective observation methods as a means to reduce unwanted behaviours
  • We will look at the benefits of focusing on positive behaviour and the impact this has on a setting and a child's self esteem

Every setting which attends will also be asked to have a copy of their current behaviour policy in front of them which we will review.  

Suitable For: Those working with children including Early Years Practitioners, Early Years Leaders, Reception Teachers, Teaching Assistants, support staff such as lunchtime supervisors and Out of School/Breakfast Club staff. 

Delivered by: Kate Beevers who is a qualified teacher with over 25 years experience of working with children and their families: in Schools, Early Years settings, and as an Adult Education tutor.  

Date: Thursday 2nd and 9th February (2 part course - both parts to be attended)

Time: 6:00pm - 8:15pm

Cost: £60 for members / £100 for non members

Important additional Information:

  • Before booking a place, please read our information sheet which can be found here 
  • Please ensure you complete the 'attendee name' and 'attendee email address' (of the person attending) to ensure we send the precourse information to the correct email address. A contact telephone number for the attendee is also required in case we need to contact them.
  • Precourse information will be emailed 24 hours before the course/meeting starts, however, we are unable to email the precourse information until your invoice has been settled (or an extension to the payment deadline agreed).
  • Payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date or 24 hours before a course/meeting starts (whichever is sooner). If payment cannot be made within this timeframe then please email training@pataglos.org.uk  to agree an extension to your payment deadline, otherwise, your place on the course may be cancelled
