    Playgroup assistant required, permanent position, 16-20 hours a week depending on number of children, term time only, Sept start, applicants must have as minimum an appropriate level 3 qualification. We are a nurturing, parent-run charity playgroup with a strong, dedicated team committed to providing our children (2.5-4 years) with the best possible care. The successful candidate will: plan for key children as well as the whole group activities based on their interests and next steps; be enthusiastic about using technology to record and assess; be willing to stay up to date with new ideas and initiatives; have up to date paediatric first aid and child protection training; and knowledge of the EYFS.     Playgroup assistant required to join our friendly and successful small team from September, 10-12 fixed hours a week, term time only, with the ability to be flexible to provide additional hours to cover other staff members when needed, applicants should have an appropriate level 3 qualification. This is a term time only position 9:00am-2:30pm. The ideal employee will be friendly and motivated with a working knowledge of the EYFS and be comfortable working as a key person. Up to date first aid and safeguarding certificates would be desirable but training can be offered. Salary will be dependent on qualifications.     Childcare assistant required, full time position, approximately 35 hours a week. Applicants must have the equivalent of C or above in GCSE English and Mathematics. An appropriate early years or playwork qualification at level 2 or 3 would be an advantage.  You will be working as part of a team in a busy child care setting that includes a Breakfast Club, Nursery, Pre School and After School Club.     Play assistant/leader required for maternity cover, temporary position, 16 hours a week, term time only, from September, applicants must be appropriately qualified to at least level 2. Our small, well established playgroup is looking to recruit a play assistant/leader from September 2018 until May 2019 with a possible further extension. You will need to be: friendly, kind & caring; a good communicator; pro-active and able to use own initiative. In addition to being appropriately qualified to at least level 2 you will need to have: sound knowledge of the EYFS, Next Steps and planning; current first aid certificate; have current safeguarding and knowledge of Tapestry or be willing to train.
