Performance and Management (Part 1) - Supervision and Appraisals

Please note we will be posting documentation for this course to participants on Thursday 13th October.  Any bookings made after midday on 13th October will be emailed (rather than posted) the relevant documentation (upon settlement of their invoice).

Course Aim: To provide managers with the confidence to conduct meaningful one-to-one meetings with their team. This course will provide: the paperwork to accompany the meetings; the knowledge on what can be asked and documented; and what further steps should be taken once the meeting closes. 

Course Information: 

This informative and relaxed session will provide an overview on:

  • Coaching techniques - how to use meetings and observations to support your team in achieving their best
  • How to give and receive feedback in a productive environment
  • How to document, agree and evaluate SMART objectives
  • How to complete one-to-one / supervision / appraisal forms
  • How to conduct Return to Work meetings to decrease absence and support individual’s needs.

Suitable ForAll individuals in a management position – setting leaders, managers and committee members.

This is is the first part of a three part course. To compliment this course we are also able to offer:-

  • Performance Management (Part 2) - Performance Improvement Plans - 
  • Performance Management (Part 3) - Conducting Investigations and - Disciplinary Meetings

Important additional Information:

·         Please ensure you complete the 'attendee name' and 'attendee email address' (of the person attending) to ensure we send the Zoom Invitation to the correct email address. A 'contact telephone number for the attendee is also required in case we need to contact them.

·         Please note zoom invitations will be sent out 24 hours before the course/meeting starts. We are unable to send out zoom invitations until your invoice has been settled.

·         Payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date or 24 hours before a course/meeting starts (whichever is sooner). If payment cannot be made within this timeframe then please email  training@pataglos.org.uk to agree an extension to your payment deadline, otherwise, your place on the course may be cancelled
