    Would you like the opportunity to help shape a growing preschool with the full back up of the PATA admin and management team?

    If so, we are looking for a new Early Years Deputy Manager, on a full-time or reduced hours basis, for our popular, community term time setting in Winchcombe which has amazing indoor and outdoor space and access to a forest school area. You must be enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering an outstanding provision, have a minimum of 2 years working at a level 3 or above in early years; as well as certificates in both child protection and first aid. If you have leadership qualities, a creative mind, the ability to inspire others, then we are keen to hear from you.

    A good knowledge of working with partnership agencies and children who are vulnerable or have additional needs would be advantageous.

    We are looking for a talented and experienced Early Years practitioner to join our PMG support team. You will be working alongside our Curriculum Lead and other PMG support staff to visit, support and improve our PMGs. 16 hours per week. 

    The role will involve visiting settings, getting alongside the managers and staff teams and carrying out audits and spot checks to ensure that practice and paperwork is all in excellent order (10 hours).

    In addition to this you will provide one day per week as bank staff in the PATA Managed Groups as required (6 hours).

    This is an exciting role with a great balance of continued practice through the bank work and a step into Early Years advisory/support work. This is a fast paced role and you need to be able to adapt and be flexible.

    You must have use of a car and be prepared to travel to all of our PMGs (see below for locations).

    You must hold at least a level 3 qualification, have a minimum of 2 years experience as a manager of an early years setting and ideally good safeguarding and SEND knowledge, together with holding a Paediatric First Aid certificate.

    Would you like the opportunity to work in our popular, mostly outdoor village preschool? If so, we are looking for a friendly person to provide lunchtime cover and some light cleaning duties for our setting PATA @ Siddington & Kemble which is based in Siddington village hall. It is a semi-packaway setting with a large garden where the children spend much of their time outside. The working hours are 12.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday. Initially this is a fixed term contract beginning in September 2022.

    The successful candidate must enjoy spending time with children and be enthusiastic and proactive. Ideally you will have a paediatric first aid certificate but this is not essential.     Early Years Deputy Manager required, on a full-time or reduced hours basis, term time only. Start date as soon as possible as the existing Deputy has had to step down due to family circumstances.

    We are a term time only setting offering sessions for children between 2 and 4 years. Our aim is to create a safe and secure environment that encourages emotional resilience to support our children and their families for the rest of their lives.     Would you like to join the PATA Early Years Team and be part of our bank staff team working across a range of settings around the county? PATA is looking for an exceptional practitioner who would like ad hoc work across our PATA Managed Groups. You will need to be able to travel, sometimes at short notice, to our settings in Gloucester, Winchcombe, Siddington, Chepstow and Dursley to cover planned and emergency staff absences. Settings use standardised documentation but retain their individual ‘flavour’ so you will get a broad range of experiences.
