    Early Years Practitioner Level 3 required, on a full-time or slightly reduced hours basis, term time only.  February to July 2022

    We are looking for a Level 3 practitioner to cover maternity leave for our setting PATA @ Penguins, based in Sedbury near Chepstow.  The setting is on the site of the local school and as well as having a large garden has access to the school playing fields and forest school area.  We are a small and friendly team and look forward to hearing from you!

    You may be required to work some or all of your hours as a 1:1 supporting a child with additional needs. You must be enthusiastic and committed to delivering an outstanding provision and have a minimum of one year working at level 3 or above in early years.  Current certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but not essential.  If you are keen, enthusiastic, creative, have an interest in outdoor learning and dedicated to helping children become the best they can be, then we are keen to hear from you.

    We are recruiting due to increasing numbers and the popularity of the setting.  The successful candidate must be keen, enthusiastic and committed to helping children become the best they can be.  You will need experience of working at level 3 or above in early years.  Certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.  If you are looking for a short-term opportunity that may have the potential to be extended, then we are keen to hear from you.

    Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner required from January to July (fixed term contract) to support a child with additional needs.

    You will be working 8.45am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday, term-time only supporting a child with additional needs on a 1:1 ratio. Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave January to July 2021.

    You will need experience of working at level 2 or above in early years, ideally with children with additional needs.     Early Years Deputy Manager required, on a full-time or reduced hours basis, term time only.  Start date – January 2022.

    We are a term time only setting offering sessions for children between 2 and 4 years. Our aim is to create a safe and secure environment that encourages emotional resilience to support our children and their families for the rest of their lives. Our staff put the children at the heart of everything we do.  We are proud of our strong parent partnerships. We have a large secure garden which offers opportunities for physical; imaginative and sensory play. We have recently had an Ofsted inspection and hope to be able to publish the result in the next week!

    The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering an outstanding provision, have a minimum of 2 years working at a level 3 or above in early years; as well as certificates in both child protection and first aid.  If you have leadership qualities, a creative mind, the ability to inspire others, then we are keen to hear from you.

    A good knowledge of working with partnership agencies and children who are vulnerable or have additional needs would be advantageous.

    Would you like to join the PATA Early Years Team and be part of our bank staff team working across a range of settings around the county? PATA is looking for an exceptional practitioner who would like ad hoc work across our PATA Managed Groups. You will need to be able to travel, sometimes at short notice, to our settings in Gloucester, Winchcombe, Siddington, Chepstow and Dursley to cover planned and emergency staff absences. Settings use standardised documentation but retain their individual ‘flavour’ so you will get a broad range of experiences.     We are looking for a new Early Years Deputy Manager for our popular, community term time setting in Sedbury which has great indoor and outdoor space and is on the grounds of Offas Mead Academy. You must be enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering an outstanding provision, have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working at a level 3 or above in early years; as well as certificates in both safeguarding and first aid.

    A good knowledge of working with partnership agencies and children who are vulnerable or have additional needs would be advantageous.
