Our Team of Tutors 

Our team of tutors deliver excellent and dynamic courses to our wide variety of learners. We often source our tutors from across the sector and together they bring a breadth of knowledge and experience to our training courses that means we can be responsive to the sectors’ needs. 

Our Gloucestershire based tutors are:

Paula Hayball

Paula is PATA's Chief Executive. She holds a Level 5 qualification and holds many years experience in the Early Years sector. Paula tutors on our suite of Performance Management courses.

Michelle King

Michelle delivers our Roles & Responsibilities course and facilitates our Network Meetings. She is a PATA Early Years Support Officer and she previously spent 12 years as an early years Educator, 5 years of this time as a setting manager.

Kate Beevers

Kate is a qualified teacher with over 25 years experience of working with children and their families: in schools, Early Years settings, and as an Adult Education tutor.  She is a PATA tutor and was previously a PATA Toddler Support Worker.

Rebecca Flaxman

Rebecca is a former PATA Chair of Trustees. She holds many years HR experience as well as voluntary experience within the early years sector. Rebecca tutors on our suite of Performance Management courses.

Debs Adams

Debs delivers our Roles & Responsibilities course and facilitates our Network Meetings.  She has previously worked for PATA for over 10 years in a supporting membership role and has extensive knowledge of charity governance and compliance.

Sara Watters

Sara delivers our Autism courses and has 20 years of classroom experience, 15 of which have been at The Milestone School.

Laura Gallop

Laura delivers our Phonics, Maths and Physical Education courses. She is an EYFS specialist and was a local school reception teacher overseeing nursery provision within the school.

Lucy Stevens

Lucy is a former owner of several Early Years settings and now runs her own consultancy business.

Colette Ricaud

Colette delivers our Mental Health and Wellbeing training. She is a Counsellor and Child Behaviour Specialist.

Lee Harris 

Lee delivers our Mental Health and Wellbeing training. He is a qualified therapist in Therapeutic Counselling.

Sarah has worked in a Local Authority Early Year's Team for many years and currently advises for specialist settings and therapy provisions. She currently delivers some of our SEND training.

Tamsin Grimmer

Tamsin is an Early Years Consultant, Author, Trainer and Lecturer. She has a wealth of experience supporting Early Years Teachers and Educators.
