    We have an exciting opportunity for Early Years Educators to join our settings across Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Stroud & Dursley. We are looking for qualified staff (minimum Level 2 relevant childcare qualification with a commitment to working towards Level 3), both full time (37 hours/week) and part-time (20 hours/week) who wish to work Term time only (39 weeks a year). These contracts will be permanent. 

    Our vision is for all children and families to aspire and achieve. A child’s wellbeing is at the heart of our provision. Successful qualified candidates will work as a Key Person to children aged 2-4 years to deliver high quality early years education.

    Bredon Playgroup is looking for a ‘Bank Staff’ Playgroup Assistant. Our sessions are term time and our team start and finish times are currently: 8:45am to 1:15pm/1:30pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday; 8:45am to 3:15pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. We are looking to extend the hours on a Monday and Thursday to 3:25pm at some stage.

    We are a friendly team who look after a wonderful group of children starting from age 2 up to going to school.

    The person we are looking for will ideally have;

    Flexibility to work when required - sometimes with notice but also at short notice.

    Experience of working with young children is essential; a relevant qualification in early years at Level 2 or above is desirable.

    We are looking for a team player with enthusiasm and a positive approach to work. We love to have fun with the children and our playgroup is a very happy place.

    Due to exciting growth and expansion within our nurseries in Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud & Dursley, we are seeking to appoint to the new role of Early Years Strategic Lead to work alongside the Family Support Strategic Lead and with the Business Manager, to ensure sustainable high quality early years education and care across all seven Early Years settings.

    You’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Aspires Early Years provision within our Children and Family centres in Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Dursley and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be qualified to A Level 7 management qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience, and /or willingness to work towards e.g NPQICL, NPQEYL. A relevant professional Early Years & Child Development related qualification, e.g Early Years Childhood Studies or a related degree, Early Years Teacher status, Early Years Professional Status.

    Working alongside our dedicated and experienced staff team you will assist in the daily running of the playgroup, providing creative play opportunities to meet children’s individual needs and support their development, communicating effectively with parents and carers.     We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated qualified Play Assistant to join our team. The role will be for 24 hours per week. The current play assistant works until 13.00 on Mondays and has Tuesday off. Ideally we’d like the successful candidate to mirror these hours until the end of July 2024, when Playgroup closes until September. If you would like to work different hours, we can try to accommodate this. We’re also hoping to be able to offer longer hours to this role from September 2024, depending on whether we can fill all child places.

    We are looking for a fundraising coordinator to manage our fundraising activities and to raise the profile of The Family Haven.

    Primary responsibilities will be to coordinate the annual fundraising strategy to secure funding through various avenues, such as, applying to local trusts for grants, producing monthly reports for the trustees, collecting and recording data, managing The Family Haven website and organising donations.

    Painswick Playgroup are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, fun-loving Early Years practitioner or Educator (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our friendly and dynamic team. Starting ASAP on a permanent contract 3 days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (08.30 - 16.00) in our small (but up to date) term-time only setting.

    Looking to recruit Relief/Bank Staff as soon as possible in our lovely Committee run Pre-School. We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 2:30pm, term time for 38 weeks. Therefore cover would be required on an adhoc basis between these times to cover sickness and training.

    The applicant would need to have a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification, have experience of working within an Early Years Setting and would need to be prepared to carry out any necessary training needed such as Child Protection, First Aid and Food Hygiene. Courses will also be provided to enhance your Continuous Professional Development.

    You will need to fully understand the EYFS, be aware of staffing ratios at all times and help with record keeping and making observations of the children. The candidate will support the full staff team by following our policies and procedures to provide a high standard of childcare.

    We will require you to attend some staff meetings or inset days where needed, communicate with parents in a positive manner and be aware of differing needs of a wide range of children.
