    Playgroup assistant required to cover maternity leave from November 2020, initially 11 hours a week and then 19.5 hours from January including 3 hours PPA, term time only, applicants must have a minimum of an appropriate level 2 qualification. We are a nurturing, parent-run charity playgroup with a strong, dedicated team who are committed to providing our children (2-4years) with the best possible care. We follow a Planning in the Moment approach therefore the position will involve observing ‘focus children’ and overseeing key children. It will involve teaching both indoors and in Forest School. The candidate needs to be enthusiastic about using technology to record and assess, whilst also being willing to stay up to date with new ideas and initiatives. They will also need to have up to date paediatric first aid and child protection training and must have up to date knowledge of the EYFS. Pay is £8.75/hour.     Deputy/key person required, permanent position, term time only, candidates need to a have as minimum an appropriate level 3 qualification. We are a committee-managed/parent-involved setting,  looking for a candidate who is a team player and a confident communicator, able to support the playgroup manager as required and the remainder of our friendly team in the manager's absence. The successful candidate will have relevant experience of working within early years with responsibility for overseeing the learning experiences/goals of a set group of children.     Manager required, up to 30 hours a week, 8:45am-2:45pm, term time only, applicants need to have an appropriate qualification at level 3 as a minimum as well as 3 years' experience. We are looking to fill a management role to help lead and inspire our small team. We are a committee-run playgroup based in the heart of Chipping Campden, with a maximum of 12 children on any given day. We have been successfully running for over 40 years. Applicants will need to have a solid understanding of the EYFS framework and NEF funding applications. Staff and budget management, invoices and payment schemes, will be worked on alongside our treasurer and committee. A knowledge of what it takes to achieve and maintain an excellent Ofsted inspection is important too. You will be expected to work in a hands-on role alongside the other members of the team and will be a key person to a number of children. Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
