    We are looking for a Playleader & Manager for our fantastic inclusive, fun, and creative early years playgroup held in the village hall term time in rural Horsley. Hours of employment are up to 27 hours a week, Monday to Wednesdays according to Gloucestershire County Council term dates. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.

    This needs to be someone with a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare, EYPS, EYT or QTS, and have preferably worked in an early years setting for at least two years, with experience of leading the setting.

    We are seeking someone who is motivated, who has warmth, patience and a sense of fun! You must enjoy working with children and have good communication and organisational skills to join and lead our amazing team.

    The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation stage and be able to effectively manage the day-to-day running of our playgroup, as well as the longer-term vision and continued success. You will have the backup of a strong, experienced committee with financial administration in place.

    Level 3 Early Years Practitioner required Part Time Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (8:45am – 3:15pm) term-time only at our setting in Dursley. Start Date: September 2024.

    We are recruiting due to increasing numbers and the popularity of the setting. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and committed to delivering an outstanding provision and has a minimum of one year working at L3 or above in early years.  Current certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but not essential.  If you are keen, enthusiastic, creative and dedicated to helping children become the best they can be, then we are keen to hear from you.

    Nursery Nurse/Nursery Assistant – Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 6:00pm and Fridays 8:00am to 3:00pm. Permanent Position. Hours can be discussed but would be looking at a maximum of 42.5 hours a week. We are an open all year round nursery. Salary based on qualifications and/or experience.

    We are looking for a nursery assistant to join our expanding team in our warm caring nursery. The candidate will need to be kind, caring and have a love for children. They need to be excited to watch children develop and have an ability to make everyday fun. Story times needs to be exhilarating and take the children’s imaginations too far off lands. They must be able to plan wonderful activities based on the children they have in the care and challenge them to learn new things on a daily basis. They must be prepared for hard work, keep children safe and have fantastic teamwork and communicative skills. If you are this person, we would love to hear from you.

    Pre-School & After School Assistant required, term time only. Minimum 24 hours to be agreed and to be worked flexibly, pay based on experience and qualifications.

    Blue Coat Pre-School & Busy Bees cares for children from age 2 to 11 years during the hours of 7:45am and 6:00pm.

    We are looking for someone to work in both our pre-school and after school club as our numbers demand.

    You will need to be fun, energetic, enthusiastic and able to be flexible and cope with the challenges of working with young children.

    Ideally you will be level 3 qualified, and qualifications such as Forest School Leader, ECAT Health & Safety or First Aid are an advantage but not essential.

    Mother Goose is a relaxed, friendly play setting for children before and after school located at Eastington Primary School and Great Oldbury. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our growing business. Any qualifications or experience will be a bonus but not essential. All training will be provided. Possibility for more hours if needed. Pay will be determined on experience.

    We are recruiting an Early Years Assistant, minimum 15 hours/week, part-time position, term time only. Need to be available minimum Tuesday afternoons, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, but there is the potential for more hours/days.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun-loving and caring person to join our team at this fantastic local setting that has just received an Ofsted Good Rating. Must be Level 2 qualified and ideally have certificates in both Child Protection and First Aid. Candidates should have a clear understanding of the EYFS and have a positive approach and dedication to the role.

    We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team in the Rising 3s Room. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our young learners. Key Responsibilities include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to support the development of children aged 2-3 years old. To foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community within the playgroup. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents. Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall planning and organization of the playgroup.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Previous experience working with children aged 2-3 years old. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and a knowledge of SEN in an Early Years Setting.

    2. Ensure that TFH complies with its constitution, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulations.

    3. Contribute actively to the board of trustees' role in giving firm strategic direction to TFH, setting overall policy, defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets.

    We have an exciting opportunity for Early Years Educators to join our settings across Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Stroud & Dursley. We are looking for qualified staff (minimum Level 2 relevant childcare qualification with a commitment to working towards Level 3), both full time (37 hours/week) and part-time (20 hours/week) who wish to work Term time only (39 weeks a year).
