    We are looking for an enthusiastic, pssionate and experienced Manager to lead our friendly preschool team and create a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children play, learn and thrive. 

    The manager has overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the playgroup, ensuring high quality care and education for all children and compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and all relevant legislation. 

    Hours: 30.5 hours per week during LEA term times (39 weeks). Additional hours worked will be at the discretion of the Committee.

    Salary: £20,800 to £22,000 (actual annual salary). Depending on experience and qualifications.

    We are looking for an organised and proactive Business Support Manager to ensure the smooth running of our playgroup being the scenes, providing excellent administrative, financial and operational support to the Manager, staff and Committee. 

    The Business Support Manager provides essential administrative, financial and operational support to ensure the playgroup runs efficiently and complies with legal and funding requirements. This role works closely with the Manager, Committee and staff but does not have responsibility for safeguarding, EYFS delivery or staffing ratios. 

    Hours: 22.5 hours per week during LEA term times (39 weeks). Some flexibility may be required during busy periods.

    Would you like the opportunity to work in our popular preschool setting PATA @ Little Everlands based in Cams Everlands School, Dursley. 

    If so, we are looking for a friendly person to do some light cleaning duties each day from 3:00pm – 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Initially this is a fixed term contract until July 2027 to begin 1 September 2026 or soon after, with the option to be made permanent. Cleaning duties will include daily vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning the kitchen and toilets, together with additional daily/weekly tasks. Pay rate: £12.71 per hour.

    The successful candidate must enjoy working around children, be DBS checked or obtain a DBS clearance (via PATA) to work at the setting (as children may be on site) and be thorough and efficient.  Please get in touch if this sounds like you!

    Level 3 Early Years Practitioner required, 3 days a week (8:30am – 3:00pm Monday, Wednesday, & either a Tuesday or Thursday), term-time only. Fixed term contract until July 2027. Start Date: September 2026 or as soon as possible after.

    We are recruiting due to increasing numbers and the popularity of the setting.  The successful candidate must be keen, enthusiastic and committed to helping children become the best they can be.  You will need experience of working at level 3 or above in early years.  Certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.

    Twyning Playgroup is seeking an enthusiastic and committed  Playgroup Manager to lead our friendly village playgroup in the heart of Twyning.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to join our team and play a key role in the continued development of our setting. The successful candidate will provide strong, visible leadership while working alongside our experienced staff team to deliver high-quality care, education and learning for children aged two to school age.

    As a working manager, you will balance time spent directly with children alongside responsibility for leading the team, overseeing the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding, staff development, quality improvement, administration and the effective day-to-day running of the Playgroup.

    Relief Preschool assistant, Level 2 or 3 full & relevant Early Years qualification required. Term time only. Pay Rate: £13 per hour. Start Date: 1st September 2026.

    Located in the heart of Leckhampton, Broadlands is a thriving community preschool. Open during term time, we care for approximately 50 children, aged between 2 and 5 years.  Broadlands is a popular setting, currently with most days running at full capacity. The Broadlands staff team are a friendly group and are supported by an active Committee of Volunteers. 

    We are now looking to appoint to a Relief Preschool Assistant to start in September 2026. This position is contracted on an as needed basis to cover staff absence, holidays, training, and periods of increased demand. 

    Broadlands currently runs sessions between 9am and 3:30pm weekdays during term time. Staff are required to work beyond these hours to set up and tidy up and to attend meetings. 

    We are looking for someone with superb communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Previous experience in a childcare setting is necessary together with a real enthusiasm for creating a fun environment in which children can learn. A clear understanding of, and commitment to, both safeguarding requirements and equal opportunities will be necessary. 

    DBS required and Paediatric first aid and Safeguarding Level 2 is desirable.

    Play Assistant, Term Time Only, Permanent. Hours of work generally between 8:15am and 3:30pm. Contracted Hours: 31 - 37  hours per week. Pay: £12.71 (£10.85 for 18 – 20 year olds). Start Date: September 2026.

    We are a friendly and popular community playgroup situated on the edge of Rodborough Common. We provide childcare for children between the ages of 2 years 6 months, and 4 years.

    Working alongside our dedicated and experienced staff team the ideal candidate will assist in the daily running of playgroup, provide creative play opportunities, meet children’s individual needs and support their development and communicate effectively with parents and carers.

    Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 and an approved level 2 or 3 qualification is essential.
