    Pre-school assistant required, part time, permanent position, term time only, to start January 2021, applicants must have an appropriate level 2 qualification as minimum. We are a committee-run setting open during term time. This is an opportunity to join our small established team and applicants should be fun-loving and enthusiastic with a kind, caring attitude. Hours are Monday 8:45am - 12:15pm, Tuesday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and Thursday 8:45am - 4:00 pm. Currently there could also be additional hours needing cover on Fridays.     Preschool room leader required, an experienced nursery practitioner to lead a large preschool at our Barnwood nursery, appropriately qualified to at least level 3. The ideal candidate will be committed, motivated, imaginative and above all else must love working with children. Your role will include: taking responsibility for the safety, security and well-being of all the children in the room; working as a member of the nursery team; showing initiative and creativity to foster an environment which encourages the children’s all round development and where high standards of care are provided.     Nursery admin assistant required, part time position, 27.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8:00am -1:30pm. We are seeking to appoint a professional and highly organised person with an attention to detail to join our nursery team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of our busy nursery. Some aspects of the role will include organising and support with: admission process, staff rotas, nursery occupancy and waiting lists, managing staff records, supporting the nursery managers. Additionally, the administration assistant will need to answer the telephone, front door and respond to email enquiries. Experience of administration work is essential and experience of working in a nursery would be ideal, but is not essential. Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment.
