    Apprenticeships are designed to offer a structured program that coaches you through the skills you need to be successful. The modules you decide to study will provide you with essential knowledge for your future career.

    You will receive high-quality training with nationally recognised qualifications. Earn while you learn: receive the National Apprenticeship Wage whilst gaining valuable knowledge, skills and experience and get paid while on Holiday! Candidates should hold a minimum grade 4 or 5 at both GCSE Maths and English.

    Further training will also be provided during your Apprenticeship - including Child Protection, Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid.

    Due to capacity limitations, we are unable to offer childcare places for the children of staff members or apprentices.

    In this role, you will work alongside the existing Co ordinator and under the guidance of the school’s EYFS Lead to oversee the day to day running of the pre-school. You will help to create a caring, safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive, and you will play a key role in delivering high quality early education and care.

    If you have a genuine passion for working with young children, are an outstanding practitioner with at least one year of experience in an Early Years setting and hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification, we would like to hear from you.

    Would you like the opportunity to lead and shape a growing preschool with the full support of the PATA admin and management team?

    If so, we are looking for an early years manager for our popular, busy community term time setting in Cam, Dursley. You must be enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering an outstanding provision, have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working at a level 3 or above in early years; as well as a strong understanding and knowledge of Safeguarding and supporting children with SEN requirements.

    If you have leadership qualities, a creative mind, the ability to inspire others and the desire to take yourself and the team to the next level, then we are keen to hear from you. A good knowledge of working with partnership agencies and children who are vulnerable or have additional needs would be advantageous.

    Could you be our next Treasurer?

    Did you know PATA is a charitable organisation?  Like many community settings, PATA is managed by a group of Committee Members (known as our Board of Trustees).

    Our Trustees give up their own time and work quietly in the background to keep things running smoothly.  This allows us to concentrate on supporting both our Members and our Managed Groups, whilst working towards our charitable aims.

    The Board of Trustees are now recruiting for a new Treasurer to join their friendly team:

    "A special someone who can advise on financial responsibilities and oversee the preparation and scrutiny of our annual accounts"

    Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, Full-time, 40 hours per week. Start Date: ASAP

    Flying Start Nursery  is a small, nurturing nursery with a true home-from-home feel, where children are supported to learn through curiosity, play, and secure relationships. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to high-quality early years practice and wants to be part of a supportive, professional team.

    The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification. This role would suit a practitioner who is confident, reflective, and enthusiastic about supporting children's development through meaningful play and learning experiences. You will support children aged 0 – 5 years, acting as a Key Person for a group of children, planning engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), observing and assessing children's development and planning next steps. You will build strong partnerships with parents and carers and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture

    Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 and an approved level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable but not essential. You will be able to develop your skills through working alongside our dedicated staff who will be able to share best practice.
