    Nursery Nurse/ Assistant – full time position Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 6:00pm and Fridays 8:00am to 3:00pm. Part time positions can be discussed. We are an open all year round nursery and an attractive salary that will be based on qualifications and/or experience.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate individual who is keen to give children the best start in life in a warm and friendly setting, where every staff member is valued and appreciated.

    The candidate will need to be kind, caring and have a love for children. They need to be excited to watch children develop and have an ability to make everyday fun. Story times need to be exhilarating and take the children’s imaginations too far off lands. They must be able to plan wonderful activities based on the children they have in their care and challenge them to learn new things on a daily basis. They must be prepared for hard work, keep children safe and have fantastic teamwork and communicative skills. If you are this person, we would love to hear from you.

    Playgroup Manager - Permanent role to start ASAP - term time only. NVQ Level 3 or above in Early Years. Pay dependent on experience. 

    Cashes Green Playgroup is currently Committee-led and works closely alongside Cashes Green Primary School where the setting for 2-5 year olds is situated. The Playgroup Committee is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, forward-thinking and creative leader to fill the role of Playgroup Manager. This will involve the strategic and day-to-day running of the playgroup and management of its team of staff. The playgroup currently consists of 2 rooms: Rising 3’s and Preschool. There are approximately 45 children on roll for September.

    We are looking for someone who is kind, caring and empathetic to the children’s varied needs. Fun and enjoys getting messy and is happy being outside in all weathers. You will be keen to encourage positive interactions and approachable and have a knowledge in how to access help and support as needed. You will be experienced in child development and helping young children to thrive, hard-working and innovative and committed to building links between playgroup and Cashes Green Primary School and all the families they serve, as well as dedicated to bringing out the best in the staff team whilst moving the setting forwards

    Early Years Educator required to join our friendly team at Tutshill Community Pre School. Approx. 25 hours a week, permanent position, term time only. Applicants must be appropriately qualified to Level 3, but lesser qualifications considered. Start Date: September 2025.

    We are looking for an exceptional and passionate and nature loving individual, who has enthusiasm and is committed to help children become the best they can be. You will be working with 2 - 4 year olds. This position is term time only, certificates in both child protection and first aid would be advantageous but are not essential.

    Tutshill community Pre School is a small committee lead Pre School, operating from the Memorial Hall with its own dedicated room and garden.

    Duke of Gloucester Playgroup are seeking a motivated, creative and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. This is a part time position with hours available between 7:45am and 5:45pm, term time only.

    We welcome candidates who have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum. A minimum of a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare (essential). Applicants to have certificates in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding (desirable). A positive and friendly attitude. High-level verbal and written communication skills.

    We are looking to recruit a Bank Play Assistant ASAP. Pay: starting from minimum wage, dependent on experience.

    Reporting to the Playleader, your role will involve following the EYFS requirements for the pre-school provision, organising a range of stimulating activities throughout the sessions, promoting positive play, attitudes and equal opportunities, working with the staff and settings policies to provide a high level of care for the children.

    You will be qualified to an approved Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification and a knowledge of EYFS and interest in SENCO. A certificate in paediatric first aid training and safeguarding is desirable.

    We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated childcare professional to join our current team. You will hold a full and relevant level 3 early years qualification. Hours: 24 hours per week, term time only. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:50am – 3:00pm, Friday 8:50am – 12:20pm. +2 hours training/staff meetings on Wednesdays.

    Do you enjoy being outside in all weathers, exploring nature through the eyes of a child? Are you happy to roll up your sleeves and explore a wide variety of sensory resources and clean up afterwards? Do you enjoy singing and dancing, reading stories and looking for lost socks?

    If you do then this may be the right job for you.

    The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with preschool children. The role will include planning, setting up and cleaning up activities. A current qualification in safeguarding and paediatric first aid is desirable.

    The setting is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children. Professional references will be required from all shortlisted candidates and the position will be offered subject to relevant DBS and criminal checks. It will include two induction days before the start date and a probationary period. The position is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All candidates selected for interview will be asked about their safeguarding children experience.
