NETWORK MEETING 3 (via Zoom)  Solution Focus Practice with guest speaker, Colette Etheridge

Whilst we will always have a focus to the network meetings, we are also mindful that there may be different concerns relating to a continued evolving situation. The network meetings will therefore always be topical taking into account the current landscape.

At the last Network Meeting in November, we discussed how to keep staff motivated as the pandemic progresses. What arose were conversations around difficulties and issues arising from the current climate which, ultimately, can be really tricky to resolve. Especially as we are all feeling very ‘covid tired’!

Luckily at PATA we are surrounded by great people, and we have asked Colette Etheridge to bring her counselling expertise and join us for this Network Meeting to talk about issues raised in a solution focused way.

Solution focused practice concentrates on helping people move towards the future they want and to learn what can be done differently by using their existing skills, strategies and ideas – rather than focusing on the problem. NSPCC learning

So please join Michelle, Colette and Debs to see if we can provide solutions for some of your challenges - please bring one specific issue to the session and we will use a solution focused idea to respond, a bit like a solution focused supervision (in a friendly, safe space)!

Places are limited to 10.

This network meeting is open to Early Years Managers and Deputies in PATA member settings and provides a great opportunity to meet with colleagues from other settings and share experiences and expertise.

Venue: n/a – the training will be carried out via Zoom

Cost: £15 for PATA Members (book onto 5 meetings during the 2020/21 academic year and receive your 6th meeting free)
