Discovery Hour - Expanding Provision to Under 2s

Join us for a short lunchtime session to discuss expanding provision to under 2s.

From September 2025 eligible families will be able to claim 30 hours of funded early education and care for children from nine-months old up to school age. This is an expansion of the 15 hours currently in place (from September 2024). Consequently, many settings have seen and will continue to see, an increase in the number of babies in their care or may be considered under 2s where they haven't previously catered to this age range. 

This session will offer practical advice and guidance for practitioners and setting leaders about how best to provide education and care to children under the age of 2. 

The session will explore: 

• What does best practice look like?
• How to create the right environment for under 2s
• Ways to build staff confidence

The session will be run by the PATA Senior Management Team and is open to all PATA Member settings. 

Suitable for: Committee Members, Manager and Deputies.
