This award was open to anyone who has been a trustee/committee member of a PATA member setting during the academic year 2024-25 and was registered on the Charities Commission. Many of our member settings are community, charitable settings run by a committee/trustees. We wanted to recognise the incredible work that they do to support the running of settings – without trustees many settings in Gloucestershire wouldn’t exist. We were looking for a trustee who has really engaged with the setting and made a real difference. This could have been in their support of the manager, reviewing processes and procedures or fundraising.
