Pre-School Assistant, Permanent Contract, 20 hours per week, term time only contract, with the initial working pattern spread across Monday to Wednesday and Friday each week. In addition, you’ll have the chance to take on extra hours throughout the year, bringing your total to as much as 27 hours weekly. Little Chestnuts Pre-school at Woodmancote School is looking to appoint an outstanding Pre-school Assistant to join our friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive, energetic, friendly school that prides itself on inclusivity and reflective practice.
The successful candidate will have a genuine love of working with young children, be an outstanding practitioner with a proven track record in pre-school. You will have experience working in EYFS, a minimum Level 2 recognised Early Years qualification and an understanding of the assessment and record keeping needs of an early years setting. You will be warm and approachable in order to work alongside families effectively to ensure children settle into education, make learning fun, challenging and inspiring, be proactive in addressing areas of weakness through CPD and have great interpersonal skills in order to contribute to the team spirit at the preschool.
