Liz Pemberton

You may have seen recent articles in the press about The Black Nursery Manager (Liz Pemberton). We are proud to work with Liz and have her on our list of regular trainers. She delivers courses which are challenging and very thought provoking, but vital to the sector to promote awareness and understanding of anti-racism and discrimination.

Our next course with Liz starts on the 2nd of November and you can book here:

You can see more about the article and Liz’s response below.

PATA Ukraine and Refugee Support

At PATA we want to do something to help people in Ukraine and refugees in the surrounding countries. One of our staff team lived in Moldova and has worked with a charity called Link to Hope who have people on the ground in Ukraine, Moldova and Romania. We're raising money over the next week to support their work and we'd love you to join us too! You could host an event at your setting, hold a wear blue and yellow day, or just ask for donations.

Let's make a difference together.

Coronovirus Emergency Response Funding

Since the start of the pandemic PATA has seen every part of our organisation dedicate itself to support services for our members, adapting and revising our own working practice to best guide our members through the significant challenges posed. We have helped members navigate Government advice and guidance for the education sector throughout the pandemic and given detailed support for groups bearing the practicalities of the fast evolving situation.

We are delighted to have been awarded funding from Gloucestershire Community Foundation that will help us stay sustainable, adaptable and enable us to continue to develop vital training opportunities that support our members throughout this challenging time.

Thank you to Gloucestershire Community Foundation for these vital funds that will make a big impact.
